Walton Ward

Walton founded Sidekick Partners in 2013. After years of advising and investing in startups, he gathered a group of friends to form a firm which ultimately became Sidekick.  Walton believes that Sidekick's network of friends and entrepreneurs drive the firm's success - he's just along for the ride!

Walton enjoys helping entrepreneurs and has two passions in life: figuring out what makes something tick and putting a smile on someone's face. As an entrepreneur himself, he is eager to guide founders through the good and bad.

Prior to founding Sidekick, Walton graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and from Stanford University GSB with an MBA.  Walton also helps manage Course 26, which is an unaffiliated investment advisor.
